Experience

PhD in Competition Law and Private International Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid. Law degree from the University of Hannover and Master LLM from the Universities of Hanover and Louvain.

She is the author of numerous publications in English, German and Spanish and is a regular contributor to the media. He is a member of the Bar Associations of Madrid and Celle, Germany and participates actively among others in the following professional associations: European Law Institute, Ligue International de Droit de la Concurrence, AEDC, RADC, Deutschen Juristinnenbund and DSJV.

Experience

Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Diploma in Advanced Studies in Commercial Law from the same University. Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is certified as Compliance Officer by ASCOM, the Spanish Compliance Association, and IFCA, the International Federation of Compliance Associations and registered as a legal expert on Compliance.
Her Master Thesis, "Analysis of Equality Plans as a tool to achieve effective equality within the Company", has been selected by the UAM for publication.
She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2001. She participates in the Association of German Women Lawyers, the European Women Lawyer Association, and the Professional Association of Gender Consultancy.
She combines law practice with in-company training and coordinates and teaches postgraduate courses at the University of Deusto.

OUR TEAM

Lilián Fernández Moreno

Graduate in Law from the University of Oviedo. Prior to joining Suderow Fernández Abogadas S.L.P., her professional experience was mainly in the banking sector. She proved her worth by being promoted up to 3 times in Banca March, where she was responsible for 10 years for the management of the Intervention function of the Madrid Wealth Management Department, leading a team of administrative staff. From January to May 2021, she prepared for the CESCOM certification by taking the Compliance Officer Course at the University of Deusto. She was accredited as CESCOM certified after passing the ASCOM exam in June 2021. In May 2021 she joined Suderow Fernández with the aim of participating in an exciting project where she can contribute her value and grow professionally.

Marina de la Torre Arroyo

Marina holds a degree in Administration and Finance and has additional specific training in accounting, legal secretarial skills and data protection. Before joining Suderow Fernández has developed her professional career in the Administration and Legal Secretarial Department of a Spanish-German law firm, Monereo, Meyer, S.L.P. She joined our firm in February 2023 with the aim of broadening her experience and taking on new responsibilities in the legal field.

Verónica Gutiérrez Fernández

Degree in Law from the University of Deusto (Bilbao), specialising in Private and Business Law. Master's Degree in Legal Consultancy from the same University. She also has training in Risk Management and Insurance and Criminal Compliance. Verónica has more than 18 years' experience in the Corporate Legal Consultancy sector. During the last 9 years of her professional career, she has worked as Head of Legal Consultancy for one of the main business groups in the construction and property development sector in the Basque Country, with a national and international presence. Her practice has focused mainly on corporate, commercial and procedural law, although her ability to analyse problems in a global manner and to provide practical solutions has been fundamental in the effective resolution of conflicts, including labour disputes. She has been a member of the Vizcaya Bar Association since 2008. With this incorporation, SUDEROW FERNANDEZ maintains its strategy of growth within Procedural Law and reinforces its Commercial and Corporate Law Department with the aim of consolidating and strengthening its commitment to provide its clients with comprehensive legal advice guided by professional ethics and personalised attention.
